Sunset Speedway - Go Kart Racing Family
Sunset
Speedway is
conveniently located in Airway Heights, Washington just behind Northern Quest Casino,
and a short 10-minute drive from downtown Spokane. This 1/5 mile clay oval track is
available for adults and children alike. Go kart racing has fast become known as a
family-friendly sport providing an affordable way to create a bond between a child and
his or her parents. In addition, we offer competitive adult racing and a chance to
explore your racing talents.
Sunset Speedway offers three separate divisions
for children including Beginner, Junior I and Junior II. The adults have a stock or
modified class. Our goal is to have fun, while providing a safe environment for good,
clean competitive racing.
The age range for the Beginner class is 5 to 8 years old. The age range for Junior I is
6 to 11 years old. The age range for Junior II is 12 to 15 years old. The adult classes
are 16 years and older.
Come out and visit us on race day. Spectator viewing from outside the pit area is free.
Everyone is welcome in the pit area, but you must have a paid pit pass for insurance
purposes. This pit pass will allow you to walk around the pits and see the karts up
close. You can ask any questions of Sunset members, and they will be glad to answer them.
Make the short trip to Sunset Speedway to watch, play, compete, or just walk the pits to
learn more about the Fastest Clay Oval around and around and around...
